Recording Votes

Recording Votes in Zeck is an easy and frictionless process, especially if your board has Pre-voted. Zeck Governance helps to eliminate the admin minutia in your meetings by moving the review of votes into the pre-meeting calibration period.

2. How to Record a Vote

While your Board Directors will review and Pre-Vote ahead of your live meeting, you'll still need to approve and record each vote in Zeck. 

To Record a Vote:

  1. Admins (and only Admins) can navigate to the Published Site and then to the Votes Section
  2. Click Take Vote 
  3. Click Approved or Not Approved based on the results of your live vote
  4. Once a Vote is recorded, an Admin can click Edit Vote to add additional notes or change the result of a mistake that was made during the recording process. You will be prompted to confirm that you would like to save edits to the vote
  5. Once a Vote is recorded, no additional Pre-voting can take place

3. How to Review Recorded Votes

Once you've recored your votes, those results will appear in any auto-generated meeting minutes in your Minutes Book. You can also review all Votes that have been recorded in Zeck. 

To Review Recorded Votes:

  1. Admins and Legal Admins can navigate to the Minutes Book on your Homepage
  2. At the top of the Minutes Book page, click Votes
  3. This will show you the history of all Votes that have been Recorded in Zeck
