Zeck Owners

As an Admin, you can fully own the management of each Zeck by assigning Contributors and Section Owners to each Section. But, sometimes you need to hand off that management to someone else on the team. Enter Zeck Owners.

2. Assigning a Zeck Owner

Whether it's giving your Chief of Staff the reins to own your investor updates, having a committee chair own their meeting Zecks or something else, the ability to assign a Zeck Owner takes some of that work off the Admins' hands. 

To assign a Zeck Owner to a specific a Zeck: 

  1. Click the Three Dots at the top of the Section Navigation Panel
  2. Choose Assign Zeck Owner

  3. Select the Name of the desired Owner from the list of Non-Admins in your Zeck Account

3. Zeck Owner Permissions

Zeck Owners are granted more permissions than your standard Contributors but less than full Admins. So let's dig into what they can and can't do.

      ✅ What can a Zeck Owner do?

      1. Zeck Owners can fully manage a specific Zeck. They can see all content within a Zeck, assign Contributors, Section Owners, and Viewers to a Zeck. They can Publish and share the Zeck.
      2. Zeck Owners can create and delete Sections, reorder the Table of Contents and restore deleted sections from the Trash.
      3. Zeck Owners can add Votes to their Zecks. They'll also be able to see the results of any Pre-Votes and finalize the Vote on the published site. 
      4. Zeck Owners will also be able to see the Analytics for their Zeck and will receive the typical email Notifications for viewing and Commenting on the published Zeck.

      🚫 What can't a Zeck Owner do?

      1. Zeck Owners cannot use Dynamic Linking to link directly to the Minutes Book because they do not have access to the Minutes Book in general.
      2. Zeck Owners cannot Duplicate a Zeck or Create their own new Zecks. Those permissions are strictly for Admins. 
      3. Zeck Owners cannot create their own Folders on the Homepage or move Zecks to existing Folders on the Homepage. 
      4. Zeck Owners cannot Generate Minutes in the Minutes Book (unless they are also a Legal Admin).
