The default settings allow every published Zeck to be exported to PDF by your Viewers, but this can be disabled.
If you would like to disable to the Export to PDF functionality on a Published Zeck, you can do so in the Zeck Settings Panel.
To disable Export to PDF:
- Click the Three Dots at the top of the Section Navigation Panel in the Editor
- Choose Settings from the Menu
- Check the box next to "Disable Export to PDF". This will remove that option from the Published Zeck.
- When you duplicate a Zeck, these settings will carry over to the copy but you can always modify them again in the Zeck Settings Panel.
🤓 Pro Tip: there are a number of reasons that you might want to disable the Export to PDF functionality, but the primary one is to drive Viewer engagement on the Published Site. Additionally, this ensures that confidential information is kept in Zeck and not downloaded.
