      Cover Images

      Your Primary and Section Cover Images are key components of the Zeck branding.

      Included in this article:

      1. Primary Cover Image 

      Each Zeck has a Cover Image. This will be the first image your Viewers see when they access your Published Zeck and will also be the image for the Zeck Tile on your Homepage. To add a Cover Image to your Zeck:

      1. Navigate to the Cover Section (first Section in the Section Navigation)
      2. Click Edit Appearance located in the upper right corner.
      3. The Cover Appearance window will open on the right hand sign of the page
      4. Click on the Thumbnail Image under Background
      5. A Choose Image window will open, click Choose Image
      6. Your computer’s file finder will appear. Locate the image file you would like to upload and click Open
      7. Click the Close (X) button in the upper right corner to close the Cover Appearance window.

      🤓 Pro Tip: Your company logo will appear at the top of your Published Zeck at all times so you don't want to put your logo as your Cover Image. Additionally, the Account name and Zeck name will be on the left side of your Cover so you don't want overlapping text.

      2. Section Cover Images

      You have the option of adding a Section Cover Image to each of your sections in Zeck. These will show up after the title and before the main content of each section. This is a nice branded break between sections. To add a Section Cover Image:

      1. Click Edit Appearance located above the Title field
      2. The Edit Appearance window will open on the right hand sign of the page
      3. Toggle on Section Cover 
      4. A Choose Image window will open, click Choose Image
      5. Your computer’s file finder will appear. Locate the image file you would like to upload and click Open
      6. A thumbnail image of the Section Cover image will appear in the Section Appearance window. To change the image, click the Thumbnail Image and repeat the above process. 
      7. Click the Close (X) button in the upper right corner to close the Section Appearance window.

      🤓 Pro Tips:

      • If you don't want a section cover image, toggle off the dial in the Section Appearance Panel.
      • We recommend using images that are at least 1024px by 768px.
      • You should avoid images with text or where cropping will diminish the resulting appearance. Section Cover Images will crop based on the Viewer's device screen size. 
      • It's never a bad idea to Preview your Zeck a mobile device to see how your images look.
